It is very common to come across a client with an underlying injury that may have been undiagnosed by a healthcare professional. Our goal is not to diagnose an injury or condition, but rather to recognize when an injury may be present and how to refer accordingly. Furthermore, with the knowledge gained from this course, trainers will be able to rehabilitate their clients appropriately.
Upon taking this course, trainers will understand the etiology, risk factors, rehab protocols, and nutritional applications for common injuries and conditions seen in a gym setting. Second, trainers will better understand how to develop relationships with healthcare professionals and therapists, alike.
Finally, trainers will build upon their existing knowledge base of fitness and health.
This course utilizes various methods of learning to ensure retention. Individuals complete an online component with test and receive an illustrated manual.
